Cross Cultural Voices: Changing the Narratives of Suicide

HKF founder Hosea Kiprono attended the conference organised by Mariposa Trails, joining speakers and community organisations for culturally responsive conversations about suicide prevention and community wellbeing.

The gathering created space to learn, exchange ideas and build relationships across different backgrounds. The knowledge and connections will support Hosea's work as a Youth Engagement Officer with the African Communities Council of South Australia, his community leadership, and the continuing development of HKF's wellbeing work.

Looking ahead to Kenya in 2027

HKF is planning a Suicide Prevention Conference in Kenya and welcomes contact from people and organisations interested in culturally responsive, community-led collaboration.
