HKF is developing a Kenya conference that will bring communities, practitioners and international networks together for culturally responsive, community-led suicide prevention.
The idea grew from founder Hosea Kiprono's participation in the Cross Cultural Voices conference in South Australia. The learning, conversations and relationships formed there are helping shape an event grounded in local voices, prevention, hope and pathways to appropriate support.
The date, venue, programme and participating partners will be announced after consultation and safeguarding arrangements are confirmed. Expressions of interest are welcome now.
Support note: This planned conference is for prevention, education and collaboration. It is not an emergency or clinical service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified crisis service where they are.

From the Community

Happy Mazingira Day from HK Foundation! A healthier environment begins with the choices we make together. Caring for our surroundings means caring for our families, our communities and the generations to come.
Let us plant and nurture trees, keep our neighbourhoods clean, reduce waste and protect our water sources. We encourage young people, families, schools and community partners to turn small everyday actions into lasting care for our environment.
Community Milestones
Progress is also found in participation, encouragement and the confidence to take a meaningful next step.
Sport and Education
The first Sports and Education Expo created a shared space for participation, learning and community engagement.
Student Support
HKF and the community recognised young people from Tulwop Ngetuny as they prepared to begin university studies in Kenya.
